Jump Start

Dear Incoming Kindergarten and Young 5s Families,

We couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming 2025–2026 school year, and we’re thrilled to invite your child to participate in our FREE Kindergarten & Y5s JumpStart Program at North Creek Elementary!

This special three-day event is designed just for our newest Bulldogs—our incoming Kindergarten and Young 5s students. The program will take place August 11th–13th from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at North Creek Elementary.

Your child is invited as they will be entering Kindergarten or Young 5's for the 2025–2026 school year. JumpStart is a fantastic opportunity to help them feel comfortable, confident, and excited about starting school. All incoming K & Y5 students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Led by our dedicated Kindergarten and Young 5s teachers and staff, JumpStart will offer your child the chance to:

  • Build community and relationships with K teachers and staff 

  • Create friendships with kids and develop a sense of belonging at North Creek

  • Familiarize, explore, and connect with North Creek such as the playground, classrooms, lunchroom, art room, music room, gym, library, and arrival & dismissal

  • Familiarize and practice kindergarten school routines 

  • HAVE FUN!

Our goal is to make sure each child begins the school year with a smile and a strong sense of connection to North Creek.

To be eligible to attend, please ensure your child is fully registered through district enrollment. You can access the enrollment page here: Chelsea School District Enrollment Page. If your child currently attends Y5s for the 24-25 school year, you do NOT need to re-enroll them in the district. They are also encouraged and welcome to attend JumpStart as an incoming K student.

Please note: Transportation will not be provided for this event, so families will need to arrange drop-off and pick-up. We hope you’ll be able to make it work—this experience is a great way to ease the transition into school!
