Read to your child every day/night.
            Find a time that works to make it a consistent routine.

North Creek students should practice reading for 20 - 30 minutes daily at home.
            Sit and listen to your child while he/she practices reading to you.
             Find out from your child’s teacher which level is best for your reader to practice.
             Talk about each book you read together - it builds vocabulary and comprehension.

Practice math facts and play number games at home with your child.

• 1 box Crayola crayons - 24 count
• 1 box Crayola thick washable markers - 8 count classic colors
• 1 box Crayola colored pencils - 24 count
• 4 Expo dry erase markers
• 24 Ticonderoga pencils - yellow #2
• 2 Giant or Jumbo Elmer’s glue sticks
• 1 highlighter
• 6 packs Post-It Notes - standard size 3x3
• 1 Supply Box
• 1 Pair of scissors
• 1 container Clorox wipes
• 1 bottle hand sanitizer  
• 2 boxes Kleenex tissues
• 1 box of Ziploc Bags
• Last name A-L - sandwich
• Last name M-Z - gallon
• 1 pair of headphones or earbuds for iPad
• 1 full change of clothes - in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name
