Young 5s Belief Statements
Social:
We believe children should be involved in a classroom community that acts with integrity while learning to advocate for themselves and others. We foster the development of these skills by offering countless opportunities for peers to interact and consider perspectives outside of their own.
Emotional:
We believe children should have the opportunity to develop independence, empathy for others, confidence, and resilience. We foster the development of these skills by offering a supportive and safe environment for each individual child to learn and grow.
Academic:
We believe children should be exposed to developmentally appropriate objectives where they can develop problem solving skills and self-direction based on their unique individual needs.
